The Barco UDM-4K22 is a high-brightness professional laser projector designed for large venues, live events, touring, rental and staging, immersive experiences, corporate productions, and other demanding projection environments.
Featuring a 3-chip DLP architecture with three 0.9-inch DMDs, the UDM-4K22 delivers 4K UHD resolution of 3,840 x 2,400 and up to 22,000 ISO lumens. Barco specifies 20,000 center lumens and 19,000 ANSI lumens, with 95% brightness uniformity.
The laser-phosphor light source provides long-term performance with a rated light-source lifetime of up to 25,000 hours under specified operating conditions. The projector also incorporates Barco’s DynaBlack technology, P7 color correction, Constant Light Output, sealed DLP core, and DuraOptix technology.
Barco Pulse electronics provide Single Step Processing for warping, scaling, and 4K UHD processing. Built-in image processing supports warp and blend, while ScenergiX provides horizontal and vertical edge blending for multi-projector applications.
The UDM-4K22 supports a wide range of professional inputs, including HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, HDBaseT, and Quad 3G/12G-SDI, along with BarcoLink ULTRA, Ethernet, RS-232, USB, and 3D synchronization connections. Input resolutions can reach 3,840 x 2,400 at 120 Hz, 4,096 x 2,160 at 120 Hz, and 2,560 x 1,600 at 240 Hz.
A wide range of TLD+ lenses is available, covering throw ratios from ultra-short throw through long-throw applications. Motorized zoom, focus, and lens shift are supported, with lens memory available on compatible TLD+ lenses.
With 360° orientation capability and a rugged, compact design weighing approximately 48 kg, the UDM-4K22 is well suited for professional rental fleets and installations where high brightness, 4K processing, flexible rigging, and reliable road-ready performance are required.
