The Ross Carbonite Black Solo 3G is a professional production switcher built for demanding live production and broadcast workflows where reliable signal management and flexible production control are essential.
The Carbonite Black Solo provides 9 video inputs, including 6 x 3G HD-SDI and 3 x HDMI, along with 6 video outputs consisting of 5 x 3G HD-SDI and 1 x HDMI. The switcher supports SD, HD, and 3G video formats, including 1080p up to 59.94 Hz.
Its production features include one full ME with four full-function keyers plus a transition keyer, two MiniMEs with two keyers each, an UltraChrome chroma keyer, two floating 2D DVEs, and six freely assignable internal frame synchronizers and format converters.
The Carbonite Black Solo also includes four MediaStore channels with 8GB of shared storage for stills and animations, along with a configurable MultiViewer supporting up to 10 windows with tally, source names, and clock information.
Additional capabilities include device control for servers, graphics, robotics, audio mixers, PTZ cameras and other production equipment, 24 GPI/O connections, tally support, AES digital audio output, reference input, RS-422 editor connectivity, USB storage, and Ethernet connectivity.
