The Theatrixx XVVRF8 is a professional-grade 8-bay rackmount frame engineered to house Theatrixx xVision Reversible Converter modules. Designed for broadcast, live event production, touring, rental, and fixed AV installations, it provides a clean, centralized solution for deploying multiple video conversion and signal processing modules in a single rack.
The fully modular design allows users to mix and match compatible converter modules—including SDI, HDMI, Fiber, HDBaseT, audio, and streaming solutions—to create a custom signal distribution system tailored to their application. Modules can be installed in either direction, allowing connections to be positioned at the front or rear of the rack for maximum installation flexibility.
The XVVRF8 features dual hot-backup internal power supplies with locking PowerCON TRUE1 inputs for exceptional reliability. Spring-loaded power contacts eliminate the need for external power supplies or internal cabling, while magnetic retention securely holds each module in place for dependable operation.
Its shallow 3RU chassis makes it ideal for broadcast racks, flypacks, production systems, and mobile event racks where space efficiency, reliability, and serviceability are essential.
